Purpose
To support 4 financial advisers in providing financial advice and services to clients. The paraplanner plays a critical role in assisting with research, analysis as well as ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Report Preparation:
Prepare detailed reports, including financial analysis, tax calculations, risk assessments, and recommendations, to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner. Collaborate with advisers to ensure accurate and timely delivery of reports to clients. Deal with insurance / investment companies, as required, to obtain supporting documents for client policy information, illustrations and product information.Identify new business opportunities.
Compliance and Regulation:
Stay updated with industry regulations, guidelines, and best practices to ensure compliance in all aspects of financial planning. Prepare compliant new business and review client files.
Client Communication and Support:
Act as a point of contact for clients, answering general enquiries and providing updates on the progress of the investment of new monies, fund switches and various transfers. Assist with document preparation, and other administrative tasks to ensure exceptional client service.
Data Management:
Maintain accurate and organised client records, financial statements, and other important documents. Ensure the confidentiality and security of client information.
Continuous Learning:
Stay informed about industry trends, new financial products, and technological advancements. Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance knowledge and skills.
Financial Products and Services:
A sound understanding of various financial products, such as stocks, bonds, mutual funds, insurance, and retirement plans, is crucial. Knowledge of investment strategies, tax implications, and estate planning concepts is also recommended.
